The Surge of Chi Exerciser Mark 4 is based on an innovative design that improves on the original chi machine format. It has a heavy-duty motor, advanced technical features including adjustable speed controls, inbuilt Massage functions comprising Magnetic Vibration and Gentle Heating. The Mark 4 gives exercise and massage effects that are both stimulating and relaxing in ways that can meet the needs of all ages, fitness levels and health conditions.

The Mark 4 version of the Surge of Chi Exerciser is an upgraded version of the basic chi exercise machine that we first introduced over 15 years ago. It has a heavy-duty 45 watt DC motor with low-friction engineering design. This gives a longer life (3000+ hours under 20kg load), a smoother ride, less noise, greater temperature resistance, and the ability to work efficiently with adjustable speed controls.

What sets the Surge of Chi Mark 4 apart from other models are its added massage features – Magnetic Vibration Massage with gentle heating – as well as the adjustable speed controls, pre-set speed and massage intensity programs, and other advanced technical features.

This chi machine gives exercise and massage effects that are both stimulating and relaxing – in ways that can meet the needs of all ages, fitness levels and health conditions. The additional massage functions are built into the swing cradle – giving magnetic-field vibration and gentle heating massage effects. There are three pre-set programs for convenient use in the home.

The swing speed ranges from about 80 to 160 rpm. You can set the speed using the dial on the hand-held control, and can smoothly vary the speed during each session.

One of the Auto-modes allows you to switch on the massage functions while the cradle is stationary. This means you could be sitting on a chair with the soles of your feet or lower calf muscles resting comfortably on the cradle.

Other refinements over the more basic passive exercise machines in this class, such as the original Sun Ancon Chi Machine, include —

  • generously padded ankle rests

  • a broad swing travel, which not only gives more movement at the hips, but also better mobilisation of the whole back than is experienced with the more basic passive exercise machines like the Sun Ancon

  • a slightly elliptical travel of the leg cradle, which facilitates the natural rotation of the hips in harmony with the swinging of the feet

  • some flexibility with the angle of the leg cradle, which adjusts slightly according to the leg length and weight of the user

  • a Heavy-Duty DC motor in contrast with the AC motors of the Sun Ancon and similar products

  • additional massage features incorporated into the cradle.
